Player reaction based gameplay

The direction of the characters changes in time. The player's task is to feel the moment in order to survive as long as possible while gaining as many coins as possible!
Three modes of movement. Depending on the character, the speed of changing directions varies.
For greater clarity, there is an information in the UI about the current direction. In addition, a bar at the bottom edge informs the player about actual speed.

  • Clockwise
  • Against the clock
  • On the plan of a cross

Various types of characters

10 different characters to unlock in the in-game shop. Each character has their own unique property that changes the gameplay character.

    Examples of character types:
  • Standard - Most balanced
  • Speedy - The fastest, but much slower accelerates
  • Insaney - Every 5 steps randomly changes direction
  • Sports - Very slow accelerates
  • Spacey - An interesting colour variation inspired by the star saga

Gameboosters

10 different gameboosters to change the nature of the game.
Specially written code that generates elements in 2D space on unique coordinates.

    Examples of types of gameboosters:
  • Coins Box - Adds coins
  • Heart Box - Adds hearts
  • TrickyTimer Box - Randomly increases or decreases speed
  • DirectionChanger Box - Change of direction
  • Accelerant Box - Increases speed

Three language versions

An important aspect for me is the proper localisation of the production. Therefore, for this project I decided to extend the game with two additional language versions - German and Polish. Thanks to this procedure I was able to see some possibilities of adding translations to the production.
It would be nice to add some more language versions in the future.

I am currently working on fixing reported in beta issues and adding minor additions before the game is released.

    Plans for version 1.1+:
  • The ability to create your own Ssswappy!
  • Extend the monetisation system
  • Additional 5 characters - finished descriptions and prototypes
  • To diversify the visual side of the project
  • Adding rewards for regular play
