Overview
CXRT is a working mixed-reality platform that supports therapists during exposure therapy. The system is currently deployed in partner hospitals and used as part of clinical validation, allowing clinical teams to evaluate therapeutic workflows in real sessions.
The platform combines immersive scenarios for Meta Quest 3, a cross-platform Flutter controller for the therapist and a complete session-analysis panel. My role covers product architecture, technical direction, hands-on development and delivery of the solution to hospitals.

02 / Therapeutic system
Therapeutic platform
CXRT includes more than 10 configurable therapeutic scenarios designed around different exposure needs. Therapists can select a scenario, adjust its intensity and parameters, monitor the patient's experience and control the session without interrupting the therapeutic process.
The complete analysis panel records session settings, duration, pauses, therapist notes, observations, distress ratings and follow-up recommendations. Live headset preview and structured reports give the therapist a consistent view of both the active session and its clinical documentation.

03 / System design
Architecture
The Meta Quest application is built in Unity and remains authoritative for the immersive runtime. A persistent shell owns the XR rig, networking and patient-facing state, while therapeutic experiences are loaded as independent additive scenes. This keeps scenario content isolated from shared platform services and makes new scenarios easier to introduce.
The Flutter application acts as the therapist-facing controller on tablets and phones. It communicates with the headset through a structured TCP/JSON protocol, controls the scenario lifecycle, receives a lightweight live preview and persists structured session records for later analysis.

04 / Clinical rollout
What came next
The next phase moved CXRT from internal development into delivery to hospitals for clinical validation. The working platform, therapeutic scenarios and analysis tools are now being used by clinical partners to evaluate the solution and guide further development.
A separate Apple Vision prototype was also created to validate the core therapeutic concept on another spatial-computing platform and explore how the scenario and controller architecture can extend beyond Meta Quest 3.
